Harbour Hounds – dog walking policy
Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are our priority. By booking with Harbour Hounds, you agree that your dog must be vaccinated, up to date with flea and worm treatments, and have any health or behavioural needs disclosed before walks.
Dogs must wear a secure collar or harness with an ID tag. Off-lead walking will only take place with owner permission and where it is safe.
Walks may be adjusted, rescheduled, or cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions.
In an emergency, Harbour Hounds may seek veterinary care if you cannot be contacted. Any costs remain the owner’s responsibility.
We reserve the right to refuse or end services where a dog’s behaviour may pose a risk to people, other dogs, or itself.

Can I change or cancel my booking?
Please provide as much notice as possible for any changes or cancellations. Availability cannot always be guaranteed for amended bookings.
What if my dog is unwell?
Please let us know as soon as possible. For the safety of all dogs, we may need to reschedule.
How are bookings confirmed?
Bookings are confirmed once availability has been agreed and any required payment or deposit has been received.
What happens in bad weather?
Walks or visits may be adjusted or cancelled if conditions are unsafe.
Can I update my dog’s details?
Yes, please inform us of any changes to your dog’s health, behaviour, or routine.
